Call out for films!

We have a really exciting event happening in October 2015, and we’d love to screen your films! If you fancy making a film for a brand new event… please read on!

Invitation to Submit Short Films

Studio Film School provide filmmaking activities for families. Later this year, with support from Film London, we will be presenting a programme of family friendly short films as part of an immersive screening experience.

Fright Flicks – October 2015

Fright Flicks is an immersive and interactive event screening original family friendly short horror films. Audiences will explore our haunted house environment and watch short films in this exciting new space, as well as participating in filmmaking workshops and meeting with the cast and crew behind the films.

Film Submissions
We are looking to screen a selection of short horror films as part of the event. All films must be suitable for a family audience. We are looking for a range of work that encompasses a diverse range of styles and forms, but will consider any films that would be suitable for a family audience and compliment a haunted house theme.

Family Friendly Horror films might include films that deal with the supernatural, mad science, films that reflect a gothic influence or mild peril. Please ensure all submissions are suitable for a young audience.

The selection process will be completed by a panel from Studio Film School and teenage members of the volunteer production team.
Films for consideration should be up to 45 minutes in length and submitted to before 31 May 2015.

Selected filmmakers will be paid an exhibition fee for their work.

We regret that we cannot guarantee individual feedback for each submitted film, but we are happy to answer any queries about the application process.
